Fwd: Member Survey: Encourage WG/IGs to encourage AC Reps to complete it

Hi Folks,

W3C are asking AC reps to do a survey to inform upcoming decisions. As you
will see below, they would like you to lobby your AC rep to complete the
survey.

>Dear Chairs,
>
>Some of you may or may not know that the World Wide Web Consortium is
>undertaking its first, comprehensive survey of our Members. This email is
>to ask you to ask your Working and Interest Group participants (at least,
>those who are Members of the W3C) at your next meeting to contact their AC
>Reps, and ask that they spend 15 to 20 minutes to complete the survey, if
>they have not done so already.
>
>The results of this survey -- which include specific questions about the
>value of current Working and Interest Group work -- will be important to
>our considerations about the future direction W3C.
>
>Though the survey can only be completed by Advisory Committee
>Representatives, I include a link for you to follow to see what it is all
>about....
> http://www.w3.org/2002/09/membersurvey/
>We have already had a near-record response. And yes, we've learned a bit
>that will help us make the next survey even better ...
>
>The original deadline for completing the survey was 5 November. However,
>we will extend the deadline until 12 November to get as broad a
>representation of the Membership as possible.
>
>Thanks in advance for your help.

>Best Regards,
