This mail summarises the changes I've made so far to the RDF XML syntax WD editor's draft after comments (most recent changes first). The list below details the changes from the review copy CVS version 1.350 as posted at http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-archive/2002Oct/att-0062/01-index.html to the version 1.378 which as of this date is at: http://ilrt.org/discovery/2001/07/rdf-syntax-grammar/ General RDF Model Theory now RDF Semantics Replaced all mentions of "nodes are labelled/identified by URI-refs .." with "nodes are URI-refs .." 7.2.3, 7.2.4, 7.2.5 - use oldTerms to forbid aboutEach* 7.2.X oldTerms - added, with note about aboutEach* gone, link to issues, error tests 7.2.18 parseTypeOtherPropertyElt reworded to remove MUST and processing 7.2.3, 7.2.4 rdf:nil has no special restrictions on it. 2.1 Introduction Reworded, link more to RDF-CONCEPTS, explained Qnames. Abstract, Status Reworded after comments 7.2.33, 8 Use XML Namespaces' NCName term and link to it in [XML-NS] 6.1.2 Element event, 6.1.7, Literal, 6.1.8 XML Literal for reference to language "undefined" replaced with "empty string" 6 Syntax Data Model Replaced N-Triples with RDF Graph, linking to RDF-CONCEPTS 5.2 Minor change 2.17 Reifying Statements - rdf:bagID and rdf:ID Reworded to note scope to xml:base or document 2.12 Omitting Blank Nodes - rdf:parseType="Resource" Reworded to add the additional cosntraints on xml:lang and rdf:type 2.11 Omitting Blank Nodes - rdf:parseType="Resource" Reworded. Deleted last "difficult to read" sentence. 2.7 Languages - xml:lang Reworded 2.5 Property Attribute Reworded Replaced all use of URI with URI References (linked to concepts document term) 6.1.4 Attribute event: re-allow certain non-namespaced rdf attributes: ID bagID about resource parseType code Typos, spellings and rewordings from Daniel Krech, Frank Manola, Pat Hayes
