W3C introduces Developers avenue, Friends program

Dear Subscriber to W3C-News,

At its Technical Plenary in Sapporo, Japan last evening, W3C introduced a new W3C Developers avenue, a one-stop page featuring the offerings and tools W3C has for Web developers, to guide them to what they need for their work.

This one-stop page presents the offerings and tools W3C has for Web developers:
Free and open-source W3C validators, checkers and tools
Discourse, to discuss and learn
W3C Community Groups to propose and incubate new web technologies
Learning, in a W3Cx MOOC or a course from W3DevCampus
Testing the Web Forward
We also introduced Friends, a gratitude program that makes it easy for individuals to affiliate as Friends and to done to support W3C as we provide the tools and services that help move the Web forward as part of its mission.
