Parameters to Exclusive C14N

Hi all,

C14N section 2.1 "Data Model" specifies that :

1) The first parameter of input to the XML canonicalization method is 
    either an XPath node-set or an octet stream containing a 
    well-formed XML document.
2) The second parameter of input to the XML canonicalization method 
    is a boolean flag indicating whether or not comments should be 
    included in the canonical form output by the XML canonicalization 
    method.

So, what could be the (additional) parameters to the exc-c14n method..?
