Summary: Do Bind operations change the getlastmodified or getetag
                    property values
           Product: WebDAV-BIND
           Version: -latest
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: 04. BIND Method
        AssignedTo: julian.reschke@greenbytes.de
        ReportedBy: lisa@osafoundation.org
         QAContact: w3c-dist-auth@w3.org

Issue: The affect of Bind operations on the getlastmodified and getetag property
values (and the value of the ETag) are not specified.
Date raised: first raised March 17 2004

Proposed Text:
"The getlastmodified and getetag properties refer to the state of the resource,
not the URLs used to access that resource. Since the BIND, REBIND and UNBIND
methods do not change the state of the resource but only the bindings to it, the
server MUST NOT change the values of these properties when these methods are used."
