ie8 and svg???

Hi!! I am Roberto from Barcelona and I am doing an svg internet  
application with javascript. But i have a lot of problems with  
internet explorer. Do you know if then the next release of ie will  
have svg implemented?? or maybe microsoft doesn't want to stay inside  
the DOM ??? it's strange??  i am allright thinking SVG is the future??
