Hi, http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/ietf/current/msg76835.html the IETF is inviting editors to test the new version of `xml2rfc` which has been rewritten in Python (the original was written in TCL, and I recall it was not entirely straightforward to get it to run on Windows). (If anyone is going to test it, I would be particularily interested in whether it actually is much stricter than the old version, since I have quite a bit of invalid markup in my drafts to get the formatting right).
