Suggestion for W3 Website

Things on the web change very fast. I think it would be a good idea for you to have a “State of the Web” area accessible from your main page. This needn't be a history of the web (that sort of thing is best left to wikipedia) but a regularly-updated statement (perhaps 2 or 3 paragraphs long that describes what the web *is right now*. It could describe what makes up the web right now, how people are designing for, and using the web, and how it is trending.

Just a suggestion — this is something that your main page seems to be lacking.
