W3C Tutorials: ASP vs PHP

Hello,

I was curious why the examples given in the tutorials are written for ASP vs
PHP, or both.  I am new to web design/programming, but have found PHP to be
ubiquitous.  I've found the tutorials on your website to be invaluable, but
have had difficulty translating the ASP code into PHP code.
