security considerations and validating HTML on your site

Working at Western Illinois University, we are considering using your html
validation site (http://validator.w3.org <http://validator.w3.org/> ) but
are concerned about the security of information that is displayed on our web
pages that need to be validated. Will the information from our pages be
secure in your validation environment?

If we wish to keep our information to ourselves, do we simply need to use a
validator on our PC, like Tidy?

I had difficulty finding any information regarding security issues on your
site. I'm sure it's out there, but I could not find it.

            Thanks, Andy
