Sample HTML for validator icons is not XHTML

The sample HTML fragment that is provided by both your CSS validator
service and your WAI valid logo page that is to be used to include the
W3C valid logos are not conforming to XHTML.  In particular, the
<img> elements have no closing tag; they should be <img ... />,
not just <img ...>
