question about XML and CGI

Hello. This is a question from a SE who works in Japan.

* Can I write my web page with only XML when I use CGI on it?
 Now I create my page with HTML.
 But your site sais XML is much greater than HTML.
 So question is the connection of XML and CBI-BIN.
