Economics and Business) is currently inviting applications for the
following 3 year PhD positions:

(2) Knowledge Graphs as a supporting technology for innovation
https://www.wu.ac.at/karriere/arbeiten-an-der-wu/jobangebote?yid=447

The positions are part of 15 PhD studentships that will be funded as
part of the Knowledge Graphs at Scale (KnowGraphs) EU H2020
MSCA-ITN-2019 - Innovative Training Networks (Grant agreement ID:
860801): https://cordis.europa.eu/project/rcn/224717/factsheet/en.

The funding for these positions particularly invites international
applications, i.e. applicants cannot have resided for more than 12
months over the past 3 years in the country of the host organisation
(i.e. Austria). Studentships are restricted to Early Stage Researchers
(ESR) who have not been awarded a doctoral degree. The positions involve
two secondments (i.e., internships) of 3 months in an industrial
setting, with the aim of broadening the students' training and enriching
their skills and experiences.

We expect excellent study results, technical knowledge of programming
languages such as C++, Java or Python, structured data formats such as
JSON, XML and RDF, and query languages such as SQL, SPARQL, or graph
query languages etc. as well as proficiency in English.

We offer an excellent research environment with international
collaborations in a top class research institute, and a beautiful campus
in one of the world's most livable cities.

Applications must include a motivation letter, a detailed CV and grades
from all stages of academic development.

Best Regards,
Sabrina
