RE: Usage of datasets and graphs in triple store

Hi Mikael,

In the smart city domain for example, there are differents actors (public authorities, transportation operators, ...) which manage and maintain their own datasets. And these data sets are linked to each other through shared classes (e.g. "citizen") or instances (e.g. a specific "road").

You are probably talking about federated queries. This document https://www.w3.org/TR/sparql11-federated-query/ specifies how to use SPARQL for such queries.

Best regards,

Fano

Objet : Usage of datasets and graphs in triple store

Hi,

what would be good reasons to split data to different graphs and also into different datasets?

About sparql FROM clause, is it possible to fetch data from external triple store, or is SERVICE method for that only?

Thank you
