CFP: IDCS 2017, 11-13 December 2017, Mana Island Resort and Spa, Fiji

The 10th International Conference on Internet and Distributed Computing
Systems (IDCS 2017)
11-13 December 2017
Mana Island Resort and Spa, Fiji
http://ilab-australia.org/IDCS2017/

Overview
========

Health, Collaboration, Innovation, and Sustainability are the main melody
of our era. The Internet, including widespread use of mobile and wireless
devices, has grown as a ubiquitous infrastructure to support the fast
development of diversified services. The advents of the Internet of Things,
cyber-physical systems, and big data are creating a new technology
revolution, i.e. next generation of internet or industry 4.0. The
integration of the digital world with the physical environment makes our
world more intelligent and efficient. Large-scale networked intelligent
systems require higher cooperation and interoperation of heterogeneous IoT
platforms. Therefore, this conference focuses on emerging models,
paradigms, technologies and novel applications related to Internet-based
distributed systems, including Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems,
wireless sensor networks, next-generation collaborative systems,
extreme-scale networked systems, and cloud-based big dada systems. The
target audience includes researchers, PhD students and practitioners that
have a general interest in the different aspects of the Internet and
Distributed Computing Systems with a more specific focus on practical and
theoretical aspects of the cyber-physical systems built with the
integration of computer networks, distributed systems, wireless sensor
technology and innovative human-computer interfaces. The conference also
has a special interest in novel applications that facilitate the design,
deployment and management in complex real-life systems, such as e-Health,
transport and logistics, smart cities and manufacturing.

they be under review or submitted to another forum during the review
process. Each submission will be reviewed by the members of the TPC and
external reviewers. The organizer offers two grants to PhD students to
cover travel and accommodation costs. One best paper and one best student
paper will be selected during the conference.

The conference proceedings will be published as Springer Lecture Notes in
Computer Science(LNCS). All contributions will also be electronically
available through Springer Link Database and will be indexed through ISI
Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Science (CPCI-S), EI, Scopus, ACM
Digital Library, DBLP, and Google scholar. Authors of selected conference
papers will be invited to submit an extended paper to Special Issues that
will be organized in reputed journals (SCI-indexed).
