BBC Research & Development in London is looking to hire a Senior Software
Engineer with expertise in machine learning for a permanent position. The
role is part of the Internet Research & Future Services team, who are
based in Euston in a shared research lab with University College London.

We are particularly interested in applicants who have a background in the
automated extraction of metadata from audio, video and text and who have
both the research skills to develop machine learning algorithms and the
technical ability to implement them. A keen interest in the Semantic Web
is also an advantage as many of our projects take an SW approach to data
structuring/navigation/presentation.
