Call: 1st School on Efficient Extraction of Semantic Data [Grants available for L.Amer. students]

The 1st School on Efficient Extraction of Semantic Data will be held on
January 8-10, 2015, at Universidad Católica, Santiago, Chile.

The summer school is aimed at postgraduate and senior undergraduate
students with basic undergraduate-level knowledge on computer science,
with interests in databases, logic, algorithms and information retrieval.

The Center for Semantic Web Research in Chile (http://ciws.cl/) will
provide full scholarships to students in Chile and Latin America that
cover travel and accommodation expenses, plus registration in the school
and workshop.

Interested students should send an email to Juan Reutter
(jreutter@ing.puc.cl) including their CV and a short letter explaining the
student’s interest in attending the school.
