PostDoctoral Researcher / Research Assistant Positions at ITI/CERTH, Greece

applications for one PostDoc and two Research Assistant positions in 
association with the European projects Dem@Care <http://www.demcare.eu/> 
and PERICLES <http://www.pericles-project.eu/>.

P1. PostDoctoral Researcher
-------------------------------------
Prerequisites:
- PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Solid background in knowledge representation and automated reasoning.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Experience or interest in externally funded research projects.

Previous experience in the areas of Semantic Web, reasoning under 
uncertainty, temporal knowledge modelling and reasoning, will be 
considered a plus.

P2. Research Assistant

Prerequisites:
- Bachelor (or Master) in Computer Science or related field
- Familiarity with Semantic Web technologies and tools.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

Previous experience in human activity/behaviour modelling and 
understanding, (Semantic) Complex Event Processing tools and/or 
association patterns/rule mining will be considered a plus.

P3. Research Assistant

Prerequisites:
- Bachelor (or Master) in Computer Science or related field
- Familiarity with Semantic Web technologies and tools.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

Previous experience in digital preservation relevant metadata standards 
(e.g. OASIS, PREMIS, ISAD/G) and/or ontology-based information 
extraction from textual resources will be considered a plus.

The expected starting date for the positions is in September 2013. 
Competitive salaries will be offered based on the qualifications and 
experience of the applicants. The contracts duration will be initially 
for 1 year, with a possibility of extension for 2 or 3 more years.
