Call for Expression of Interest

Who: PhD candidate in Computer Science, Intelligent Systems, Recommender System
What: The PhD candidate will research in the field of scalable and highly domain configurable recommender system. The envisaged system will capture the domain specification into ontologies that will serve both as domain expert representation and as the system’s main reasoning mechanism. Also due to the ontology’s intrinsic features, the configuration, evolution and maintenance of the system is facilitated. For better supported results, diverse and big (sources of) data will be exploited.
Where: Université de Bourgogne (Dijon), France
When: starting September 2013
Duration: 3 years PhD Program
Minimum requirements:

•      MSc. holder in computer science or informatics

•      Despite the PhD program is in English, the candidate will go through a selection audition/hearing in French, implying a minimal professional proficiency in French.
