The 2nd Web Science Trust Doctoral Summer School 2011 (WebSchool11)

The Web Science Trust Doctoral Summer School 2011 is primarily intended
for  postgraduate (PhD or MSc) students, postdocs, and other early
career researchers investigating aspects related to the analysis and
understanding of the socio-technical relationships driving  the
evolution of the Web. A mix of international speakers and tutors will
deliver lectures and seminars designed to provide a unique cross
disciplinary grounding in techniques for analysing the Web,
understanding its relationship to society and engineering its future.

Applicants are not necessarily expected to have a computing background,
though some technical knowledge of computing and the Web would be
advisable. Participants will have also have an opportunity to work in
small groups on topic-specific breakout sessions. Interaction with
senior researchers and establishing contacts between young researchers
is a main focus of the school, which will be supported through social
activities and an interactive, amicable atmosphere.

REGISTRATION:

- Residential Stay: 890 euro. This includes attendance at the Summer
School, 8 nights accommodation in a single en-suite bedroom at Corrib

- Non-Residential Stay: 625 euro. This includes attendance at the Summer
