MoKi Open Source Released
===============================================================

We are pleased to announce the Open Source release of MoKi, the
MOdelling wiKI, version 1.2. The tool can be found at

About MoKi
----------
MoKi is a modeling tool that supports the creation of
integrated domain and process models through structured wiki
pages.

MoKi enables heterogeneous teams of experts, with different
knowledge engineering skills, to actively collaborate by
inserting knowledge; transforming knowledge; and revising
knowledge at different degrees of formality. The active
collaboration is guaranteed by an automatic translation between
formal and informal specifications of the different experts,
and by facilitating an integrated construction of the different
parts of the integrated model.

Current features of MoKi include:

* Integrated domain and process modeling
* Easy editing of a wiki page by means of forms
* Import and export in OWL and BPMN
* Easy import of lists of elements organized according to
predefined semantic structures (taxonomy or partonomy)
* Graphical browsing / editing of models.
* Fully-integrated models evaluation functionalities (models checklist and quality indicators)

MoKi is the result of a collaboration between the DKM Research
Unit at FBK-irst and the Know-Center, and is released under the
terms of GPLv2 license.
