Announcing WebSci'09

The first Web Science conference, WebSci'09: Society On-Line, will be  
held in Athens Greece in March, 2009.  You can find out more about the  
conference, the themes (many of which dovetail with applications being  
developed by people on this list) and see the call for papers  
(extended abstracts) at http://www.websci09.org --- we also very much  
want to include people from the social sciences as well as computer  
scientists and information system engineers, so please feel free to  
forward the call to your friends and colleagues in the other areas
