I'd try using <person> foaf:interest <wikipedia page> [1] e.g.

_:damian foaf:interest
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resource_Description_Framework> .

Which has the advantage that:

1) You don't need to build a vocabulary of interests.
2) You link to a readable page. Hopefully.

If you're interested in SF wikipedia is alarmingly detailed :-)
