The 2006 IEEE International Conference on Web Services (ICWS 2006) will
be part of the IEEE Computer Society Congress on Software Technology and
Engineering Practice (CoSTEP), celebrating the 60th Anniversary of IEEE
Computer Society! ICWS 2006 organizing committee invites you to
participate in the fourth year of ICWS in Chicago, USA on September
18-22, 2006.

ICWS 2006 will be co-located with the 2006 IEEE International Conference
on Services Computing (SCC 2006), the 30th Annual International Computer
Software and Applications Conference (COMPSAC 2006), and the 2006 IEEE
Workshops on Software Technology and Engineering Practice (STEP 2006).
IEEE Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) Industry Summit and IEEE
International Services Computing Contest will also be featured at this
joint event.

ICWS 2006 will continue to put its focus on all aspects of Web Services
from Computer Science perspective; while SCC 2006 will concentrate on
Business Services and the bridging technologies such as Business
Strategy and Design, Business Process Integration and Management, and
Grid and Utility Computing.

The 2006 IEEE SOA Industry Summit (SOAIS 2006) is celebrating the 60th
Anniversary of IEEE Computer Society! This first-ever industry summit on
SOA, organized by IEEE, is intended to bridge the gap between Services
Computing and Business models with an emerging suite of ground-breaking
technologies that includes SOA, business process modeling, integration
and management, grid/utility/autonomic computing, enterprise service bus
and mobile computing such as ad-hoc networks.

The 2006 IEEE International Services Computing Contest (SCContest 2006,
http://iscc.servicescomputing.org/2006/) will focus on using the SOA
methodologies and tools to better solve business issues facing today and
bringing together worldwide talented students for the industrial wave.
The top six winners of the contest will be announced in the 2006 IEEE
International Conference on Web Services (ICWS 2006) and the IEEE
International Conference on Services Computing (SCC 2006) in September,
2006. In addition, the technical papers of the winners will be published
in the proceedings of IEEE SCC 2006. 

The theme of SCContest 2006 is Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). It
is sponsored by IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Services
Computing.
