Exselt on Mono

Today I have finalized rudimentary tests with Exselt on Mono, which means that Exselt can now be run on Linux and MacOS systems, theoretically also on Android and iPhone (iOS) systems.

I have, among others, added Michael Sperberg-McQueen and Charles Foster to the issue as both have shown an interest in using Exselt on the Mac. If others prefer to run Exselt on the Mac or on Linux, I gladly add you, as feedback will be welcome. As of now, I am not sure how much of the processor will run on these systems. My primary environment is Windows and testing cross-OS's requires a bit more setting up and time.

Let me know if I should add you to this private build (no installer, instructions in the issue): https://abrasoft.jira.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/4/ECS-22 (you may need to sign up).

Public access without signing up: https://abrasoft.jira.com/browse/ECS-22 (I may revoke this "open" nature of this issue once a more stable version is available).

This step was a requirement to fulfill my action item " ACTION-2016-03-31-003: ABr to allow running a full test from the commandline using Exselt", which is still in progress, but I hope to finish it soon now that this is in place.

Thanks,

Abel
