This issue was created as a place-holder and resulted
from a discussion of ISSUE-13 and ISSUE-14 - 
PSVI processing and xs:default:

I imagine this is unlikely to impact the Basic patterns
document, unless someone considers it to be an essential
schema feature currently well supported by databinding tools.
