Automated Conformance Test

Hello,

Do you have a stylesheet or schematron as described in 
http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-patterns/#detection that could be used to 
generate a conformance report for a given document?  I'm looking for a way 
for people to run a simple script that will quickly tell whether or not 
their document follow the "best practices" described by the basic & 
advanced data bindings.

Can you recommend XSL 2.0 engines that could execute the test?  I only 
know of Saxon.
