Hi

I am Frederick Hirsch, and will be chairing the XML Security
Specifications Maintenance Working Group.

I work at Nokia in standards and industry relations and have been
active in XML Security and Web Services standardization for some
time. I participated in the original XML Signature and XML Encryption
working groups, was a co-editor of requirements in XKMS, and am
currently an editor in WS-Policy. I have also been active in WS-I
Basic Security profile, Liberty Alliance, OMA, OASIS Web Services
Security, OASIS Security Services (SAML) and in the initial
activities related to OASIS Digital Signature Services (DSS) and
other security standardization activities.

One goal of Nokia is to see a single, converged Internet, which is
why we are active and supportive of these efforts to create such
standards.

I plan to contribute through chairing.

regards, Frederick
