Here are some comments : some for us some for Webapps WG

== ZIP based ==
This spec is extensively zip based, and we don't have a component to deal
with ZIP files as a whole
-----> we probably should think about an extension to p:directory-list that
can list the content of a zip by allowing the "path" option to point to a
ZIP/JAR and *WGT*.

If we know the structure of the zip (which is the case here) we can have
access to a particular through the fact that  many plateforms handle the URI
like access to file in a ZIP/JAR with "foo.zip!myfile.xml"

== General ==

Then the structure is know for the reading of config.xml

== Signature ==

To verify the optional signature, then we will rely on the extension we have
asked the Security WG for

== Rest ==
Almost all the other checking implies binary access to the file, which is
possible though use of p:data
