David is ambivalent. Having it be an ISO standard might help
in some quarters. He doesn't think we should do 1.1 without 1.0.

John wonders if this would be under the same place as where ISO
has RelaxNG, Schematron, etc. (scribe missed where that is).

John thinks it is a waste of time. Norm leaned away from doing it.

Henry thinks it would be useful/worth it.

David and Loren will plan to meet at TPAC to discuss.

John thinks it will be a lot of editorial effort. He said
getting RelaxNG ISO-ready was a lot of work.

Henry got a different viewpoint from Philippe (or someone).

David points out that 1.0 won't be changing.

ACTION to David and Loren: Discuss the issues with taking
XML Schema (1.0 and 1.1) to ISO and recommend a path.

Norm would not want to do just 1.0 and not 1.1.

Henry points to
http://www.iso.org/iso/iso_catalogue/catalogue_tc/catalogue_detail.htm?csnumber=58625
which is an ISO publication of W3C's WCAG Recommendation
as an example of something that was easy to port to ISO.

Michael Kay's code just accesses Xerces code, so Norm might
have to work with Xerces. He has also contacted DV but hasn't
heard back yet.

ACTION to Norm (to work toward getting Xinclude 1.1 implementations)
continued.
