Re: [Fwd: Request for in-place modification of XML 1.0 5E]

The XML Core WG has no objections to the Team implementing
the edits-in-place to
http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/REC-xml-20081126/Overview.html
and
http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/REC-xml-20081126/REC-xml-20081126.xml
to correct the obsolete link issues wrt BCP47/RFC 4646/RFC 4647.

[If someone wants to make parallel changes to XML 1.1 2nd Ed,
that's fine too.]

Once those changes have been published, I will update
the XML 1.0 5th Ed Errata at
http://www.w3.org/XML/xml-V10-5e-errata
to reflect those changes (and this will ensure these
changes will make it into any future edition).
