Dear Advisory Committee, Chairs, AB, TAG, and Team,

TPAC is approaching soon!

REGISTRATION. If you have not yet registered and plan to attend,
please take a moment to complete the registration form:
  https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35125/TPAC2013/

VISA. Do you need a visa to travel to China? If so, please take into
account the time your government may need to deliver the visa.
If you require an invitation letter for your visa application, the registration form
explains how to request one from Beihang University. Please send your request
as soon as possible and note that Beihang University cannot guarantee an
invitation letter for requests received after 15 October.

PROGRAM COMMITTEE. In July we reported [1] the results of the TPAC
2013 planning survey and ideas for next steps [2], including a Program
Committee [3] to elaborate the next steps. Three of us met on 16
August (minutes [4]) to discuss structure and agenda.

NEXT MEETING. The Program Committee will meet next on 29 August from
9-11am ET. We welcome newcomers to discuss the agenda and meeting
structure in detail. For call logistics, see:
http://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC2013-Committee#Meetings

MAILING LIST. The Program Committee will use
member-tpac-planning@w3.org for its discussions. Anyone with Member
access may subscribe to that list. From time to time we will also
provide updates from the Program Committee on w3c-ac-forum.

AGENDA: We have begun to populate the TPAC wiki with agenda ideas:
http://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC2013-Planning

We welcome your comments on those early ideas, knowing that they are
subject to change wildly. Note that we are planning to use Tuesday
morning as an optional portion of the AC meeting, organized as an
unconference.

BREAKOUTS: We also invite you to begin proposing breakout sessions
(that you wish to lead or would like someone else to lead):
  http://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC2013/SessionIdeas

You may propose them for Tuesday morning's AC session, or the
Wednesday Plenary Day breakouts.

Thank you,

Ian Jacobs, Head of W3C Communications
