The XML Core WG has been asked to review these specs
before the end of May. Jirka and Norm have actions
to do so and report back to the WG.

Subject: Last Call for XML Signature 2.0, Canonical XML 2.0 and XML
Signature Streaming Profile of XPath 1.0

This is a Last Call transition announcement for "XML Signature Syntax
and Processing Version 2.0" [1], "Canonical XML Version 2.0" [2], and "
XML Signature Streaming Profile of XPath 1.0" [3].

Please send comments to public-xmlsec@w3.org with [XML Security 2.0
Comment] at the start of the subject line ****before 31 May 2011****.

Note that comment on the decision to restrict the XPath Profile to XPath
1.0 would be appreciated.

The Last Call decision was made on 29 March 2011 [4] with agreement on
Last Call duration on 12 April 2011 [5].

We would especially appreciate feedback from:

- XML Core WG [6]
- XSL WG [7]

No formal objections have been filed against these documents.

See http://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/42458/status for WG status page in
IPP, and http://www.w3.org/2011/02/09-xmlsec-status.html for additional
IPR status information that is relevant to both XML Signature 1.1 and
XML Signature 2.0.

The WG also published updates of ordinary working drafts of the "XML
Security Algorithms Cross-Reference" [8], "XML Security 2.0 Requirements
and Design Considerations" [9], and "XML Security RELAX NG Schemas"
[10].

Thank you.

regards, Frederick
