XML Namespaces vs. XML 1.0 5e -- proposed draft errata

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Richard has updated the draft errata document for XML Namespaces 1.0 [1]
with two proposed errata which could be issued in conjunction with XML
1.0 5e. The substantive one, NPE31 [2], addresses the problem James
Clark pointed out [3] with incompatible references from the production
for NCNameStartChar to undated versions of XML 1.0. The other, NPE32 [4],
cleans up some glitches wrt the referencing of XML 1.0 from XML
Namespaces 1.0.

Comments ASAP, please -- if I _don't_ hear anything strongly opposed
to these, I will proceed to schedule a transition call for XML 1.0 5e
to REC, on the basis that James's substantive (as opposed to his
other, process/philosophical) point will be addressed.
