Last Call of xml:id is published

The XML Core WG hopes to take the xml:id spec to Last Call
next week.  Our expected schedule is to run the LC review
period through to December 8th (mid week after the AC meeting).

The Last Call Working Draft of xml:id has been published at:

The Last Call review period ends 2004 December 13.

The XML Core WG welcomes review from all interested parties. In

xml:id Version 1.0

Abstract
--------
This document defines the meaning of the attribute xml:id as 
a universal spelling for ID attributes in XML documents and 
defines processing of this attribute to identify IDs in the 
absence of validation, without fetching external resources, 
and without relying on an internal subset.
