Did we ever get anywhere we re-purposing the delegate Certs mechanism?

Now we have some hard meaning attached to multiple San Uris, delegate Certs seems more valuable, enabling the sever to speak to ones sparql server, using delegated privileges. Said delegate cert might have a supporting profile (pointed to in its own San) that applies logical enforcement to implement the delegation limits.
