Re: UK Local Government testing Personal Data Stores

Dear all,

on the topic of personal data stores (in a general sense), we've
published an article in VLDB'10 [1], presenting a credible alternative
to central servers using secure hardware, with the same applications
in mind. We feel that this could lead to a more widespread adoption of
such systems, since the users would have better safety guarantees
about their data and who accesses it.
