Short self-description: 

Since my electrical engineering degree at the University of Padua I have
worked on voice technologies getting experience in the field of speech
enhancement and automatic speech recognition.

At the end of 2000 I joined the Speech Synthesis team of Loquendo, a
Telecom Italia company. I am now working on automatic speech analysis
and prosodic features extraction, with particular emphasis on Text to
Speech data. I am also working on signal processing, aiming at the
simulation of realistic prosodic cues in speech synthesis. In the last
few years I have been concerned in emotional speech and have developed a
prototype to simulate three basic emotions with a TTS system.
