We have a post doctoral opportunity for a Research Fellow to work on an EU

http://www.astoncrisis.com).

The position involves contributing to the research on a project called
Disaster 2.0 which concerns the application of Web 2.0 and Semantic Web
technologies to disaster management and emergency response scenarios in the
EU. Responsibilities concern the technological aspects of the project
including assessing the current relevance and applicability of Semantic
technologies to emergency management and disaster relief, developing a new
ontology or integrate existing ontologies for this purpose, and designing
prototype semantic applications for this type of scenario.

Applicants should have completed or submitted a PhD in Computer Science
