Dear Advisory Committee Representative,

The mission of the Rich Web Application Backplane Incubator Group [1],
part of the Incubator Activity, is to explore and refine the
architecture of a "Rich Web Application Backplane" -- a set of common
building blocks for web applications. The group is currently in the
midst of building some example Web pages that illustrate the
principles of the Web Backplane they plan to describe in their final
report.

The Rich Web Application Backplane XG is hereby extended to 8 October
2009.

For Mauro Nunez, Incubator Activity;
Ian Jacobs, Head of Communications
