Re: Editorial Last Call Comment: RFC 3280 is obseleted ( LC-2056)

Future Proof the doc -

In looking through the doc I would expect that all RFCs and specs will be superseded over time and was looking for some type of reference to the fact that the later version could be applicable, the future proof concept was talked about in the WG earlier. Not sure if I missed verbiage and if I did - please point this out.

If I didn't, how do we note to the reader that specs are expected to change over time and the newer reference or versions may be applicable and should be used?

Sorry for long extended leave. I have a conflict on wed mornings and I have been in a moving nightmare that has had a major disruption to my life.

Cheers!
