Workshop Goals and Scope

The intention of this workshop is to encourage a dialog among the CAs, software makers and usability experts on the issues associated with the interface for client PKI in the browser. In order to facilitate this discussion, the workshop will comprise a mix of presentations and moderated discussions that will:

*	Explore the current user experience
*	Identify the common usability issues with today's PKI
*	Examine ways for the industry to address these issues in the future.
*	Examine ways in which CAs can help browsers implement better user interfaces.
*	Explore new 'usability' metaphors to make PKI accessible to average web users.
