CORRECTION Proposed Resolution for Issue 162

The editors of the media-type note suggest that issue 162 [1] should be
closed.

This is a left over issue from the first draft [2] and subsequently
resolved on task force concall on April 19th to allow IANA media type
token values to indicate media types. The rationale is already explained
in the first text draft [3] and restated below.

It is observed that there is already machinery and implementations for
recognizing IANA media type tokens for the web. IANA tokens would
already be supported by the underlying infrastructure that the web
services would rely on. Therefore the note do not need to address
supporting other types of values.

Regards.
