Hello Everybody

Thanks a lot for all the replies. They have truly helped me better  
understand the full purpose of WS-CDL.

For your information a post has subsequently been made in the thread  
on TheServerSide with a link to a scientific paper similar in scope  
to the paper by by Marco Carbone Kohei  Honda and Nobuko Yoshida.  
Instead of process calculi, petri nets are used in this paper to  
model business processes and protocols from a global and a local  
perspective. The link is here:
