The discussion on spellcheck="" focused on two ideas; using spellcheck="" mostly as specced here: http://damowmow.com/playground/spellcheck.txt ...and doing something with lang="". The idea of using lang="" had problems that were pointed out by several people, most notably, the issue that the user's language doesn't always match the site's. I think this makes it inappropriate for this use. I have added spellcheck="" to the spec. If there's anything in the feedback that I missed, please let me know.
