What about Perl, Ruby, Javascript, Cold Fusion, JSP (Java), ASP.NET
(C#/VB.NET), and ASP (VBScript/ActiveX)?  
(Did I miss any of significance?)

Those platforms collectively comprise a very significant component of the
web.
