In particular, consider Microsoft Exchange, which returns the results of 
a SEARCH query with a ranges-specifier of "rows".[0]

Are the setRequestHeader requrirements a reflection of IE/Mozilla/Opera 
implementations or invention? What would happen if a server allowed 
Kerberos auth? Would there be any way for a WhatWG implementation to 
deal with that?
