Rather excessive use of I there Ian, surely this is a consensual operation...

If user want to use things that break in legacy UA's there are a lot
richer and more well implemented options out there than these
proposals which are basically all a hack due to the need to do legacy
stuff.

Who are this audience of Web Forms who don't want to do legacy
support, but somehow want to see it in some mythical future browsers
that look highly unlikely to see the light of day for many months at
the earliest.
