Hi Jim,

     That's fine, but we need to hear your voice every once in a while 
(if nothing else then on Peter's spreadsheet:

If we don't, it makes it difficult to assess whether there is a 
consensus for one proposal or another, or to understand your motivation.

     I don't want to argue with your viewpoint but I'd like to 
understand your motivation (the same is true for everyone else who is 
silent on this list). Why are you in favor of the current direction?
