@guidou, is it something that could be implemented in Chrome? I believe that what you are proposing is inline with what Safari does and what Mozilla has in mind. This could be the foundation to fix #612 and would greatly reduce the severity of this issue. Some additional questions: 1. Is there a use to expose audio output devices when device-info permission is not granted? 2.
